They've made it! = They've succeeded
I've had enough. = I'm fed up. 1 don't want to do any more
You've had it! = You're in trouble
That's torn it! = You, we, etc. have done something that someone else will complain strongly about
Now you've done it! = You've done something seriously wrong.
She's arrived. = She's achieved fame, success, acceptance, etc. at 1st
He's lost it. = He's lost his patience or self-control
You've got me there! = Good point: I've no idea what the solution is.
She photographs very well. = She is photogenic.
Her voice records well. = Her voice sounds good on tape.
Will this stain wash out? = Will the stain disappear with washing?
Your composition reads well. = Your style is very good.
Black jeans are selling well. = Many people are buying them.
This skirt creases so easily. = The skirt becomes creased very quickly.
Don't feel up to much today. = I do not feel well enough to do this/ sth.
I'mafraid I'm not much of a cook.= I'm afraid I am not good at cooking.
There's many a time that I've wished 1 could quit. = I've wished I could quit many times.
Many's the time I've had to talk to him about that. = I've had to talk to him about that again and again.
The weather was fine for the most part. = The weather was fine in general.
There's an awful lot of onion in this dish. = I hate it that there is too much onion in this dish.
